I'd like to create a new blog on blog.mozilla.org, about Developer Engagement activities, for a community audience. My working title for it is "Engaging Developers".

I didn't see another category in which to make this request. Please let me know if I should make it a different way (such as Bugzilla), and what other information is needed.

Can you point me to a form or process for PR approval for new blogs?

As far as I know, there is no form. Howerver, Valerie Ponell and/or Leslie Nakajima should be able to help. They are both cc/ on the bug.

Hi Janet, apologies for the late reply - also adding Mardi from internal comms. To start with, let me point to the Mozilla Blog Guidelines for some overall guidance and background: https://wiki.mozilla.org/One-Mozilla-Project/Documentation/Blog-Guidelines

We are trying to have less channels and to add new authors to existing blogs with a set audience. Would you have a blog in mind that might be worth contributing to? We have a community blog (https://blog.mozilla.org/community/) and of course Hacks. Perhaps we could add a new category for you on the community blog?

Thanks, Valerie. It looks like the community blog is a good fit for the types of posts I have in mind. They don't really fit with the editorial direction on Hacks any more.

Great, Mardi who (along with David Boswell) is a main author on the community blog is also copied on this bug and should be able to help and talk to you about a new category would best fit in, and then should be able to get you started.
