Thinking about possibly updating the design/CSS of MDN & DevHub for the short term so that the two sites are more similar in style.

Possibly, we could use the Sandstone style (modified from sky) being used by SUMO and modifying it as needed. Would like to discuss and scope...

Sumo: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/home
New Marketplace style: https://marketplace-altdev.allizom.org/
Blocks: 868111
Priority: -- → P1
Also, there are darker tones of Sandstone available:

https://air.mozilla.org/
https://login.persona.org/
https://mozillalabs.com/en-US/

If we want to keep the effect of darkening colors as we get further away from final/finished/released products. E.g., Firefox, Beta, Aurora, Nightly.

FWIW, mozillalabs is the one that bothers me least for readability. I'd be really grumpy if we went with the air.mozilla.com color scheme for docs.
Going to put this on hold/mark as WONTFIX, per John Slater, until we can do it as part of the full site redesign.
