steps to reproduce:
1. launch the marketplace-altdev app on your Firefox OS phone
2. Search for ban71
3. In the search results page, click on the "x" within the search box
expected behavior:
Search field is cleared
observed behavior:
Search field is not cleared but the focus moves to the beginning of the search term

Clicking on the 'x' is still not very responsive but at least it is not wonky anymore.
