From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.1+) Gecko/20010619 BuildID: 2001061905 At the main page http://www.mobistar.be/, you can choose your language, after which you're transfered for a new page. If I try to load the Dutch (Nederlands) or English page, Mozilla crashes. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load http://www.mobistar.be/en/index.html 2. or http://www.mobistar.be/nl/index.html 3. Or try to access the main page, and follow the link to the Dutch or English version Actual Results: Mozilla crashes. After this, it takes an extremely long time to re-start Mozilla, but I'm unable to browse anymore. Furthermore, it seems that it affects other internet apps as well. An e-mail checker just freezes, and if I open Netscape Communicator 4.77, browsing or checking e-mail is not possible. I have to reboot (log out and re-login doesn't help either) to continue working. I tried to save the page, remove all the javascript in it, and load it again, but Mozilla still crashed. Crash did occur in Mozilla.exe *----> Stack Back Trace <----* FramePtr ReturnAd Param#1 Param#2 Param#3 Param#4 Function Name 0012FB80 60ED2E50 0012FB90 0012FBEC 60EDC7D8 0272E224 <nosymbols> 0012FB9C 6030E4FC 0272E224 0012FBBC 00000001 02A8B520 xpcom!nsAString::do_AssignFromElementPtr 0012FBB4 604376C1 02A8B524 0012FBEC 02ABF8D0 02ABF8B8 gklayout!NS_NewFrameImageLoader 0012FC0C 604359BD 02C1EB34 026B1F98 02AC0DC0 02A8B520 gkplugin!nsGetInterface::operator= 0012FC70 6078D881 028497F8 028497F8 00000000 607A611D gkplugin!nsGetInterface::operator= 0012FC80 607A611D 02C29220 028497F8 00000000 000000C8 necko!NSGetModule (FPO: [3,0,0]) 0012FC98 607A6082 607B37A4 028497FC 607A876B 026A91E0 necko!ExtractURLScheme (FPO: [0,0,2]) 0012FCA4 607A876B 026A91E0 6078C731 028497FC 02C29750 necko!ExtractURLScheme (FPO: [0,0,2]) 0012FCAC 6078C731 028497FC 02C29750 00000000 00000000 necko!ExtractURLScheme (FPO: [3,0,1]) 0012FCC4 60ECA62C 026A91E4 00000000 00D0A120 60ECA59A necko!NSGetModule (FPO: [0,0,2]) 0012FCD4 60ECA59A 026A91E4 0012FDCC 0012FCFC 00D0A120 xpcom!PL_HandleEvent (FPO: [1,0,2]) 0012FCEC 60ECA7F9 00D0A120 0012FDD4 0012FD1C 77E12E98 xpcom!PL_ProcessPendingEvents (FPO: [EBP 0x0012FDCC] [1,0,4]) 0012FE00 600A65F6 012B0620 004016B5 0129E9F0 00000000 xpcom!PL_IsQueueNative 0012FE08 004016B5 0129E9F0 00000000 001335CE 00000000 appshell!nsQueryReferent::operator= (FPO: [1,0,0]) 0012FEF0 004011B8 00000001 002F3A68 002F3AB0 001335CE mozilla!nsGetInterface::operator= 0012FF18 00402E96 00000001 002F3A68 00405954 00400000 mozilla!nsGetInterface::operator= 0012FF24 00405954 00400000 00000000 001335CE 00000001 mozilla!nsGetInterface::operator= (FPO: [4,0,0]) 0012FFC0 77E97D08 006F006D 0069007A 7FFDF000 C0000005 mozilla!nsGetInterface::operator= 0012FFF0 00000000 00405820 00000000 000000C8 00000100 kernel32!CreateProcessW

Yep. Diving for stacktrace. Note my talkback agent isn't reporting Talkback ID's to me.

This may have been just fixed. I could not get it to crash with my debug build, and after loading 2001062004 it works for me.
I just downloaded the latest build (2001062104), and the problem still persists. The first time I revisited the page, I had no problems. But after one or two reloads, it crashed again. I first tried to turn off cookies for this site, and since this didn't help, I disabled JavaScript. After that, I didn't have any more problems with the site. Several reloads did not cause any problems. So, I guess there could be a fault in the JavaScript engine, or it could be a cookie error, since a cookie is set using JavaScript on the home page. Since the problem does not occur with JavaScript disabled, I'm changing the component to JavaScript engine.

vk207, can you please download a build with talkback http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-win32-talkback.zip and try to trigger the crash. If you can crash and talkback catches it it will let you send in a report which contains a stack trace that should help us track this down. Please record the Talkback incident ID in this report. thanks.
Two crashes are reported, using the latest build I could find (2001062104). Incident numbers are TB32045669H and TB32045312Z.
