Firefox (20.0.1) hangs, consuming large amounts of memory, and eventually crashes when attempting to render (some?) large tables, e.g. users' lists of postcards on Postcrossing.com. Steps to reproduce: 1. Load http://www.postcrossing.com/user/Willi . 2. Click on "View list of postcards exchanged" (near the bottom of the page). Expected result: 1. Firefox loads and displays the list of postcards exchanged by that user. Actual result: 1. Firefox freezes and hangs for a couple of minutes with one CPU core pegged at 100% load and the amount of memory consumed slowly increasing. 2. Eventually, Firefox crashes (this just happened at about 3.1 GB of memory consumed for me). Note: Firefox was not able to send a crash report, instead showing a dialogue informing me that no servers had been configured for sending crash reports to; but since this was an OOM crash, I think the report would likely have been useless, anyway. OS: Windows 7 64bit.
I don't experience a hang in 20.0.1 or Nightly, only a spike in CPU during ten seconds. Does it happen in Safe Mode (see https://support.mozilla.org/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode)?

Hi, thanks for looking into this. I tried in safe mode, and it's working fine then.

So it's caused by one of your extensions. Try to find it (see https://support.mozilla.org/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems) and report to the developer.
