Related with the problem on bug 834123 with old dates and certificate validation.

After a reboot (probably changing SIM card - removing battery) I get a XUL error with a Geeksphone Keon (more people getting this error on Keon and Peaks after reboot).

My date was reset to January 8 1982.

I set the current date again an rebooted. Marketplace and other apps (twitter, wikipedia) now works but I still get the icon-less marketplace.

After installing some apps, now the Marketplace icon is back.

No idea why my date was reset, probably it's a good idea if, due battery removal, date is lost, update automatically from SIM operator or Internet (if wifi is on).

This needs to be reproduced on a different phone to see if it's device dependent or not.

According to Bug 834123#c13 this is Keon specific, removing qawanted.

I have tried to reproduce this bug with a KEON and a PEAK but I have failed to reproduce the bug.I have tried with Firefox OS 1.4, 2.0 and 2.2 in both devices.

I think , this bug may have been resolved . I am adding you in a needinfo so that you could try the bug again and let me know , if it is reproducable or not. This would be a great help. :)

I don't have a Keon to test any more, but Flame with 2.0 does weird things with dates when you remove the battery, but I haven't seen apps disappearing.

Since I'm unable tor reproduce it any more, let's close this bug.
