It would be nice to be able to display simple framerates, even outside of the Profiler. A numeric widget or line graph on the Developer Toolbar could be cool. see https://github.com/pcwalton/firefox-framerate-monitor for some code.

I didn't actually want to be the bug for the profiler itself. I wanted a separate "widget" to display current framerates either in the developer toolbar or somewhere else. Clearing dependency.

We're going to have this in bug 879008. A framerate actor is ready, and the widget is in the works.
