Steps to reproduce: 1. Load an mp4 video in Firefox Android (a facebook mp4 video from the news feed is fine) 2. Let the mp4 video play through to the end 3. Once playback stopped, seek backwards and resume playback What happens: The video plays fine but the audio is gone. What should happen: Both video and audio play. From a total outsider feeling to the code behind this, it feels like once the video played all the way to the end and stopped, firefox shuts down the audio channel and fails to re-open it if the user seeks backward and resume play.
<nIRV> wesj, will do now. can you give it a shot now? simply load any facebook video (or actually any single mp4 video), wait for it to stop after it played video through, then seek backward to play back and notice the abscence of sound :) <wesj> yeah sure. testing <wesj> nIRV: yeah, i see that too. it played for a second, but then when mute
