869972 - [Dialer] Call log is getting populated very slowly

When you have the phone running for a while (or a lot of entries in the log?) the call log is getting populated very slowly. Sometimes it takes about 15 seconds which you have to wait. Calling someone quickly is nearly impossible. 

Steps:
1. Have a couple (lot) of entries in the log
2. Start the dialer application
3. Open the call log
4. Wait....

This is the most annoying issue for me at the moment and I hope we can get this fixed soon.

Also missed in my last comment. If you have started a call through the Call log and stop the call, I see a white screen for more than 5s at the moment before content is visible again.

Alex,

We're currently looking into a similar issue with the Contacts app (bug #865747)so we can definitely start looking into this one as well.

Is 2013.05.17 the 1.1 date we need to have this fix uplifted? If so, that's 6 days to analyze and fix if we started tomorrow. That's risky but this is pretty unacceptable performance we have to fix.

I believe this is already being tracked & worked on in the leo+ bug 857398
