Description

The Enlazados app in the partner customizations does not have an update URL to check for updates against https://github.com/telefonicaid/firefoxos-gaia-latam/blob/master/external-apps/enlazados/metadata.json. That means that the Enalazados app will never be able to update it's app against new versions published by the app developer.

I am closing this bug but asking Daniel to review. The bug should be closed because this app is NOT sourced from Marketplace because it contains a certified API. (Note that although the app is packaged it is essentially an iframe that points to a hosted app after reading the MNC/MCC of the user's SIM. Updates to the app will come from the hosting server.)

I think I'm going to file a separate bug if that's the case, as that confirms my suspicions on the implementation here. There's a strict requirement in TEF's business requirements that indicate that this is not a valid implementation for an app - you can't just stick a wrapper around a website that is preconfigured by a SIM.

Hi Karen,

Sorry for the late response. I'm afraid I cannot add more info here. Don't know the details about the implementation for the app.
