Using the Share > Firefox Sync > Send Tab to Devices feature doesn't seem to actually be sending tabs to my other devices.
Works for me, I sent a tab to my desktop session. I forced a 'Sync Now' on desktop and the tab opened automagically.
is... that how it's supposed to work? By forcing a sync on the other end?
Sync is a pull-based system. If you have two devices, your desktop will sync when you return from idle (if it's been long enough) and every five minutes when you're not; usually that means you sit down and move the mouse, it syncs, and your tabs appear. If you're sending to Android… well, we sync about once a day, so at some point you'll get a system notification with a new tab to open. The only way to make that faster is to force a sync.
I stand corrected. Didn't realize that was how it worked. As you were.
