Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:23.0) Gecko/20130502 Firefox/23.0
Build ID: 20130502064324

Steps to reproduce:

I can consistently get Firefox to kill the other apps on my device, by simply opening pages. I deduce that this is caused by an over consumption of resources. I'd hazard a guess that Firefox simply isn't doing it's garbage collection properly, however I'm not expert and despite attempting to look for something that stands out in the logcat, it's just not apparent to me. However the fact remains that something isn't working like it should and as such, I've filed this bug.

Forgot to mention: HTC One X (Android 4.2.2), 1 gig RAM, Quad Core 1.5Mhz Tegra 3 Processor.

Also Firefox is the only app on the entire system that brings the others app crashing down around it.
Summary: Memory Leaks on CyanogenMod → Memory Leaks on CyanogenMod 10.1 (RC1)

Thanks for including this.

Something that would be helpful would be periodically loading about:memory to see if the memory usage is increasing or not.

Okie doke, I'll keep an eye on it. I've just had the issue again, however upon trying to load about:memory, I've got a blank page.
