Description:
Email crashes, when a user is sharing the picture over the email, if the email address is typed manually.

Repro Steps:
1) Updated to Inari Build ID: 20130510070203
2) Set up email account
3) Open "Gallery" app from the Home screen
4) Choose and image and tap on "share with" option
5) Choose "share with E-mail"
6) Type "Hotmail" address in the email address field
7) Click on "Send"

Actual:
The image is sent and delivered but the email app crashes and closes.

Expected:
The email is sent and the email application is opened.

QA Wanted for the following reasons:

1. Does this reproduce on 1.01?
2. Is this a crash or an OOM?
** Crash = you would get a crash reporter dialog or crash notification
** OOM = no notification, app just closes adruptly
3. If it's a crash, can include a crash report URL?

I used unagi to reproduce this case with the build you mentioned(Build ID: 20130510070207)

Do you mean that the Firefox OS UI didn't go back to e-mail app after sending out the e-mail?
If yes, I think it is not a bug, and it was a product behavior/feature.
The "E-mail" app is called by "Gallery" app and the "E-mail" app is a temporary system process at the moment. The "E-mail" app should be closed after sending out the e-mail. I don't know why you expect that the Firefox UI should return to "E-mail" app.
"But", we can challenge a behavior, why didn't Firefox OS UI return to "Gallery" app instead of home screen?

By the way, you can use iOS to do the test, you will get the similiar behavior.

In this use case, I believe email closing is correct (maybe some sort of email sent successfully message prior to closing should be presented).  However, we should be returning to gallery instead of the home screen.

Who do we ask for UX input here?

I tested this on yesterday's 1.0.1 and V1 train builds and I don't see any issues with sharing pictures from Gallery. Everything seems to behave as expected. In my case after I send the email I am returned to the email app. Tested with:

logcat shows only gmail, not the hotmail that was stated in comment 0.  Please attach the full logcat.

This is bug 802643.  The "easy" fix is for activities to let us transfer control back to the original app (assuming it didn't get out-of-memory killed).
