Steps to reproduce:
Attempt to send a totally empty message
Actual results:
Thunderbird flagged spelling error with errant word left blank. See attachment.
Expected results:
Message should not have failed spell check. This happens on all messages. Attempt to send an empty message was the most extreme example I could devise to prove the problem.

Problem found to be caused by lack of any loaded dictionary. This must have been dropped after the product was re-installed.
