Steps to reproduce:

I used previous versions of Firefox and this option is very usefull


Actual results:

I updated to Firefox 21 and this option doesn't work anymore


Expected results:

I don't know. Could bring this option back or fix it? Thank you

Hi, unfortunately this report is not very useful because it does not describe the problem well. If you have time and can still reproduce the problem, please read https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Bug_writing_guidelines and add a more useful description to this report by providing exact steps to reproduce the problem.

Launch Firefox 21 (I'm using FF21 on linux)
Go to about:config
Set 'browser.allTabs.previews' to 'true'

Open many tabs so that the "List all Tab" appear (it should be the "Preview all tab" button instead"
Clicking on it shows the dropdown menu with the list of tabs. But it should show the "Preview all tab" overlay.

Note: if you enable 'browser.ctrlTab.previews' and hit Ctrl-Tab the 'Tab selection' overlay is shown but clilcking on "Show all XX tabs" will trigger the "List all tab" dropdown menu.

I have a very similar problem, but with TMP. See:

Trying with an empty profile, I have to confirm that the option has been removed.
This makes it *VERY* hard to work with more than a handful of tabs. Also, key bindings may be different, but I get no tab overlay whatsoever.

My FF is at version 21, and on Linux.

Forgot to say: For my use case, it makes FF almost unusable. Importance should be at least "HIGH", imho.
