Is this the whole unverified/verified stuff? I thought I was losing my mind, but I think I reproduced this yesterday. Anyway, this should be filed against https://github.com/mozilla/browserid/issues most likely.

Hi, Victor,
We deployed a new server yesterday to test the browserid code that will be landing in production in two weeks, and the new UX screens for the persona flow. As a result, the database is fresh and verified emails will have to be re-verified once. This disruption is going to happen one more time, and that is when we point to the real login.persona.org later this month.
At that time, there finally be only one persona identity for marketplace users, for both desktop and mobile.
Thanks for bearing with us as we finish the last legs of the integration testing.

Sorry for the confusion. We were migrating URLs (servers), see bug 872168 and bug 872169. This behavior is expected but it won't happen in production for end-users.
