Please draft a list of "core" web components that together form a decent set that would suffice for "many" apps.

Awesome. I have some comments/questions -- do you want that on the gist or in the etherpad?
Either place is just fine- maybe the etherpad for now.
I think this is pretty well-resolved for now. Naturally the list might change but we have a great foundation.
