Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.edit->preferences->advanced->procies : select manual 2.fill in for ssl proxy : proxy.mangusnet.com, port 8090 (may be any other ssl-proxy) 3. visit any https-site Actual Results: nothing happens (cerr shows : error loading https://.... ) Expected Results: page should be loaded
sorry, type error, the name of the ssl-proxy is : proxy.magusnet.com
I'm not seeing this bug on 2001062204 using Windows ME. I am using a manually configured ssl-proxy from my corporate network and can access numerous https sites.
Confirming on WinNT. I'm using frame.packetgram.com port 443 and can no longer reach https sites such as https://www.verisign.com.

Un-confirming the bug. frame.packetgram.com:443 is down and doesn't work with 4.77 either. I am also unable to locate proxy.mangusnet.com.
