By default, SharedPreferences are global to the application. This breaks if Firefox starts using profiles. Richard mentioned using a per-profile XML file for the preferences.

We should be tracking this for ~fx25, because it'll affect facades/silverfox/etc.

See also Bug 707123, which would eventually morph into "make sure all of our data providers are multi-profile safe".
