User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130409194949 Steps to reproduce: I'm using the bookmarks toolbar with many bookmarks and folders. My sync quota is 930KB, if that matters, and I experience this bug for quite some time now. I click on a bookmark folder. Actual results: The 'dropdown-menu' is transparent and I can't read the titles. I can still click and open them, though. If I deselect and open the folder a few times, it eventually shows. Each folder does not contain many entries. Sometimes a folder opens the first time after I start Firefox, sometimes not. Expected results: The menu should just show up properly, like it does for example in the sidebar.
I thought about it some more and I think the bug especially occurs for a folder that contains feeds. It is very random, though. Most of the time, every thing works fine. If one folder doesn't work, the others usually do. It bugs me about 1-2 times a day and doesn't go away for about 5-30 seconds of repeatedly clicking.

I was unable to reproduce this even with a folder containing lots of bookmarks and feeds. Based on comment 1, I think this is quite difficult to track and takes a lot of time to reproduce it. Lately it got worth, I created a new folder with only three bookmarks in it and could barely open it. Feeds didn't seem to be the actual problem. So I experimented a bit. After exporting the bookmarks as JSON and importing them again, the 'lag' was gone. I used the same profile for several years now, added and removed a lot of bookmarks and also used Mozilla Sync. I don't know how the bookmarks are stored, maybe they were defragmented or something. I guess you can mark this as resolved.
