I upgraded an Unagi to Gaia 1.1.0.0-prerelease 20130518070206 and made a call which worked. Later I got called and the caller couldn't hear me, even later when i called him and tried everything with the volume controls. So I moved the SIM card into an Android phone and called him successfully and started the Unagi without sim card, but I don't get past the blue screen with 'Firefox OS'. Even after inserting the sim card and starting it, I don't get past it. Long pressing the power button shows the shutdown/power button menu. If I power off the phone while connected to power via USB, the Turkcell start screen is shown and then the battery bar charging from 0 to 100 percent, but shortly before the settings showed the battery as 52% charged. Is there a way to unbrick this phone (without compiling from my side)?
I create a gecko/gaia build so Archy can flash his device. http://people.mozilla.com/~nhirata/B2G/2013-05-20_unagi.zip It's a 1.1 production build of gecko/gaia bits only with a flash script to flash the device. The script is based off the work that mwu and I did for a different device.
Thanks to nhirata's support and patience, I managed to flash the Unagi last night. So he can remove the file from people.mozilla.com. Furthermore, should this bug be closed worksforme?
Well, since it's only gecko and gaia... we're allowed to distribute those portions. I'll leave it up for any other l10n contributors to flash with until I have a new one. I guess we can close this bug, and hopefully for any l10n contributers that have the unagi and run into this issue, they can flash with this and hopefully get their device up and running. I think resolved fixed would be more appropriate? Since we did fix your blue screen issue. :) or WFM works for me as well.
Ok, let's say the brickishness of my phone got fixed.
