User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130409194949
Steps to reproduce:
I follow a link to a bicycle route map. Here is a good one:
http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2293382
This has been going on for several years. Internet Explorer doesn't have this problem.
Actual results:
Map is shifted right leaving a large white space
Expected results:
Map should be in the middle, as far left as possible.
The display at this website is divided into 3 columns. The outer 2 columns may be individually reduced in size. The middle column displays the map and route.

Works for me.
Did you change minimum font size?
Or Did you change text zoom level?
Works for you, huh? I did neither of the two suggestions. Did you try using IE? If you do not use this site you may not notice what is wrong. The map shows, but it's always shifted to the right, leaving an unusable white space, and limiting what you can see on the map. Ah well, I can live with it.

WFM too, the map takes all the space not occupied by the outer columns. Bottom blocks of which less than some part is shown are not rendered (or are hidden), leaving grey space.
Note white space to left of map. Right 1/3 window can be collapsed by clicking on ">>", making it possible to see more of the map, but white space can't be filled.
Problem does not appear in firefox 24.0.
