User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:23.0) Gecko/20130517 Firefox/23.0 Iceweasel/23.0a2 (Nightly/Aurora)
Build ID: 20130517004016
Steps to reproduce:
Print->Print to File "save in folder" does not distinguish /var/tmp from /tmp etc.
Actual results:
Could not find exactly which of the */tmp directories on my computer it printed to.
Expected results:
Show the full path.
Does it work in a previous version of Firefox? (Firefox 20 or 21 e.g.)

Alice, are you able to repro the issue on Linux? (I can't test on my side)

Aha, That dialog is not Firefox own dialog.
It is GTK's.
So, I think this is not Firefox Bug.
You can see same behavior.
1. Open gedit
2. Type something
3. Ctrl+P > "Print to file"
4. Choose /tmp or /var/tmp by folder chooser
5. Observe folder

One sees there is even a third "tmp" at the bottom too.

Yes same dialog also seen in midori.
In chromium Print or ^P does not do anything.
Anyway the bad thing about this dialog is that hovering the mouse over a name does not reveal its full path!
Please confirm that you see that and suggest a fix.
This is in contrast to similar 'save to file' dialogs where hovering the mouse over the folders offered reveals their full paths!

This dialog is not provided by Firefox but is a GTK dialog. Please report this bug to the GTK project or your particular Linux distribution.
