Using an Italian SIM card (+39xxxyyyzzz) I sent a message to my FxOS which uses a Dutch SIM card (+31xxxyyyzzz), using my FxOS phone I then replied. In the message list I expected to see both the incoming message and the reply but I could see only the reply. In addition to this on top of the reply I could see the contact for the incoming message, not the outgoing one (see the attachment). Clicking on the message would correctly show both messages in the threaded view (see the second attachment).

STR:
1. Send a message to a FxOS phone from a phone with a different country code
2. Open the message on the FxOS phone
3. Reply to this message (the outgoing number will be fully qualified with the country code)
4. Go back to the list view

The issue was seen using a v1-train gecko build (rev a915cd32343e015da5f8f49380f529161fa8a565) and gaia master build installed on top of it (rev 37d895322819acff82f131452d5d0950d1cdb001).

Turns out this is intended behavior... never mind.
