We currently don't have a profile set up in GA for makes.org. Would you like me to create this and put the GA snippet in this bug?
Hi Gareth - my general answer is yes, please let's track whatever is trackable in anticipation of giving our metrics folks stuff to work with - but I cannot speak knowledgeably on how makes.org meets webmaker.org MikeB? DavidH? Can you provide info on what makes.org's role is in relation to user accounts (accounts created, return users) and conversions (makes opened, makes completed, makes viewed, makes bounce rate, etc). Is this where the magic happens?

Gareth, please see bug 889514 which asks for makes.org to be added to the GA profile for webmaker.org - they should be treated as one and the same.
Depends on: 889514
I asked some questions in bug 889514.
* Status on this one? * @ Rebeccah: is this still needed and useful to you?
Rebeccah already has access to the webmaker profile which includes .makes.org traffic. I think we can just close this.
Ok - sounds good if that is already in place. To be clear about intent - I'm simply trying to establish User Flow through our sites that capture every stage of Visiting, Making and Publishing content via webmaker.org. If this information is captured and trackable for the metrics expert - I am happy with that result. Thank you! :)
Rebeccah: there are plans afoot to create this sort of monitoring, to the best that Google Analytics can allow us to do. I'm not sure how best to keep you in the loop on that; perhaps email me (mike at beltzner dot ca) and we can connect.

Hey Mike - I'm going to drop the baton on this one. It's something for the next guy (or woman!) to drill into - just trying to feed the data lions. :) I'll stick around in the background just so I can see how my messaging is doing (with many thanks to Gareth for implementing user flows for me!).
