right now we don't offer any way to explicitly close the 'my makes' pane other then the 'my makes' link when signed in. This poses a few problems: - when a user clicks outside of the pane, they generally expect it to go away, but it wont' - logging out with the pane open removes the 'my makes' link, so the pane cannot be closed at all. Options to improve that UX?
pitched so far: - add a close option/button/element/whatever to the container the iframe gets loaded in so you can manually close without using the 'my makes' link - give the pane an onmouseout handler that queues up a close operation if the mouse stays out of the pane for ... ms these sound complimentary.
