87517 - Mouse interferes with keyboard selection in menus

Reproducing:
Place mouse pointer somewhere underneath a menu (i.e. just underneath
"Bookmarks"). Now activate the menu by keyboard (alt-b) and move the selection
with the keyboard (arrow up/down). Very often the selection will reset to where
the mouse is pointing.

This is not a bug to me. Probably you touched the mouse  just a hinch and that's
what caused the jerkyness

It's definitely not a matter of accidentally moving the mouse. I'm Using Win2k,
build 2001060703, and it happens every time.

OK, I'm not seeing the behavior described on w2k build 2001062204.  I am howver
seeing the following.
1) Place your cursor under some menu item, for example search (below the menu
bar itself)
2) hit alt-b to select the bookmarks menu.
3) hit the back arrow three times and watch the selection.

the selection dissapears and a down arrow has to be hit to get it back.

On win2k, with a current trunk build, I don't see the selection move back to 
the mouse position when just navigating the bookmarks menu up/down with the 
arrows. However, when I left-arrow on a submenu to open it, the 
selection/:hover will momentarily move back to the menuitem under the mouse,
and then move to the first menuitem of the submenu. 

I can also see what Deinst notes, although that's somewhat of a different
issue (or not). 

-> Future, cosmetic only, no loss of functionality as far as I can see.
