Hi Matt and Matej!

We need copy and design for a print ad that will be featured in the guide booklet for the New Horizons Film Festival in Poland.

The due date is 05/30 (have to send it to New Horizons by 05/31) and may need to be localized in Polish (finding that out from Kristin now).

I think "Get mobilized" works as a headline here, I'm just not sure if it localizes well. Let me know if this is going to be translated and if we need an alternate line. Otherwise, here's what I got:

re: localized headline. I think we've already localized that term for other assets in Flicks. So, hopefully that means we are good.

Lizz is on PTO through Tuesday. I've asked her to confirm whether or not the film festival materials are printed primarily in English or Polish. My gut says Polish so thinking we are likely going to need to localize. More to come on that.

Hi Matt, looks really great. I checked with Pete and he just wanted to see a few small changes. Still waiting to find out if this needs to be localized. 

1. Could we please take "Get Mobilized" out and instead use the Firefox Flicks wordmark as the headline?

2. Take the Firefox Flicks wordmark off the right corner

3. Add the Firefox OS wordmark in the left corner

Hi all,

Still didn't hear back from New Horizons, but I just reviewed logo placements on other materials and the other materials are all in Polish, so I think we should localize. However, the ad is due EOD tomorrow, so it's very tight. 

Going to file a localization bug now. Will post the localized copy as soon as I have it.

Hi Lizz,  thanks for the feedback, glad you are liking it.  

My only question would be for point 1. When you say use the Firefox Flicks wordmark, do you specifically mean like the wordmark currently in the bottom right (using Meta as the font) or can we get away with using same font that is being used for 'Get mobilized'? The problem with using the actual wordmark is we wouldn't be able to place it on an angle so this may change the overall look that has been consistent with the Flicks identity for this year.  I can try two options though, one using the current angled 'Get Mobilized' font with 'Firefox Flicks', and another horizontal one with Firefox Flicks wordmark.

I have a thought here: what if we keep the Firefox Flicks wordmark where it is and then use the current "Get Mobilized" font (I think it's Volkorn) for the headline?

I think having the 'Firefox OS' and 'Firefox Flicks' workmarks at the bottom will balance nicely and keep it looking symmetrical. 

From a design perspective, WDYT?

Hey Matt, 

Could we take the Firefox logo off and just have the Firefox OS wordmark by itself? That way, it will match the Flicks wordmark. 

Got the Polish translation, now just waiting to see if there are any changes suggested. If I send it to you EOD today, could you have it laid out by mid-day tomorrow? I can try to send it earlier, if that helps, but I'm just trying to give localization a couple extra hours to chime in on the original translation that I was just given.

I don't see a problem getting the localized version to you by early tomorrow..once copy has been finalized it won't take me too much time to work it in.  I will keep an eye out for when it's ready.

I have the print ready PDFs ready to post here in the bug, but I have noticed in the copy bug there was still some uncertainty with final copy.  Want to confirm if we are going with the last copy that was posted in this bug, or if there will be a need to change to the copy to reflect the updates in the copy bug?

Hey Matt, I just heard back from Pete and he decided it makes more sense to take the Firefox OS logo and return it to just the Flicks logo. Could you please make that change? Then this will be final and ready to send to Poland :)

On the English one, can you change the festival name in the second CTA to "...we're doing at T-Mobile New Horizons"

And the Polish one to: "Dowiedz się, co robimy na T-Mobile Nowe Horyzonty"
