If you click "Delete Filter" in the filter list, an alert pops up that asks you if you really want to delete the selected filter. "Delete this filter?". That is not a complete english sentence... I suggest we use this wording instead: "Are you sure you want to delete this filter?"

please r= and sr= this little wording change.

well if you want to get technical, how about: deleteFilterConfirmation=Are you sure that you want to delete this filter?
Bug is invalid as filed. Grammatik (wp8): sentence \ clause 1: Delete this filter ? base verb determiner singular noun punctuation
Ok, maybe it's a valid sentence - but that doesn't make this bug invalid. If you want, this bug can be about making the wording easier to understand.
cc'ing jatin, tech pubs while Robin is out. Suggest we go with whatever jatin suggests for wording.
Jglick, what's wrong with my wording? Instead of blindly doing what jatin is saying, can't you at least say what you think is bad about my wording?
Håkan, I don't think there is anything wrong with your wording. Obviously a decision needs to be made here, and I think the person with the formal training as a writer is the best person to make that call.
Ok, since hwaara believes there's a bug, i'm fixing the summary to be vaguely valid. I do not endorse the spirit of this patch :o, it's patronizing. I think undo support would be a better use of our time than changing a feature. I'm relatively confident mpt would tell us to replace this dialog w/ undo support. I don't endorse ask@swva.net's patch either, but i am going to veto hwaara's patch based on ask's.
Summary: "Delete Filter?" alert's wording is not a complete sentence → hwaara doesn't like the "Delete Filter?" alert's wording
Sorry for my late input. This sentence (the one used in the patch dated 6/25) is appropriate: Are you sure you want to delete this filter? Such wording is common in uninstallation and deletion dialog boxes.
naving, sspitzer: sr= r= on the wording fix?

Was this intended for trunk only? Seth, please confirm.
Keywords: vtrunk
yes, it was trunk only.
OK, vtrunk keyword added. I won't be looking at trunk builds until after Netscape's commercial RTM.
OK using aug10 commercial trunk build: win98, mac OS 9.0, linux rh6.2
