As i started manual smoke tests, when i got to the warner brothers web site, the page began to load (as well as another small window) and then apprunner crashed. It only occurred on my Win 98 machine, the Mac OS 8.5 and Linux machines did not have the same problem, i tried to reproduce it with their latest builds. Only difference between the Win 98 and the other two is the only the Win 98 browser opened up a small second window...the Mac and Linux versions did not open up the extra window. Talkback report can be found under Incident ID: 10306391 Machine: Pentium Pro w/ 128MB memory, Win 98 OS Build: Win32 1999062308

Works for me on build id #1999063008 on a Pentium II with 64 mb ram and Win 98, so I'll assume that this was worked out in one way or another. As a note, both windows completely loaded.
In the July 6th build, attempting to open warnerbros.com in Apprunner causes a crash. This crash occurs under Win 98, Win 95 and Win NT.

i too witnessed a crash trying to load the warner bros. website (www.warnerbros.com) with today's build 1999070608. This did not occur on the mac build 199070610 or the linux build 1999070616. please reopen (i'm no sure if i have the authority to do so)

jay, you can definitely re-open bugs, though it will sometimes help if you try to narrow down the crash thru minimizing the html. I am seeing the same crash on 7/7 builds on win95. The problem probably has something to do with the pop-up windows, I am seeing the same crash at http://home.netscape.com when they present a pop-up dialogue. I will try to narrow it down.
petersen, are you able to narrow down this crash?
Paul- I will look at issue in the next day or so. I need wrap up M8 testing.
I just ran the July 8th 6pm build, and it's going fine for me in apprunner too. While I'm currently d/l'ing July 6th to double check, it's still going fine for me on Win '98. If I can get it to crash, I'll try to make a quick testcase.
Okay.... It crashed on 07-06's build. Since it did not on 07-08, it looks like it's fixed again. Since it's popped up a couple times though, shall we leave this open? (As to that testcase... I couldn't duplicate the crash when I moved the page and its content local, so I give up. Limited connection time sucks, you see).
