Steps to reproduce:

Windows XP or Windows 7
Thunderbird 11
I answer email enclosing current correspondence.


Actual results:

When replying to a message Thunderbird does not attach all correspondence, but only the last letter.
This happens for example when sending e-mails from the poczta.interia.pl and receive them in Thunderbird.



Expected results:

There should be attached all correspondence - all the letters.

Thunderbird 11 is over a year old. 
Can you reproduce this using current version 17?

Yes, I just installed version 17 and is the same problem.

The solution is the hidden preference mail.strip_sig_on_reply set to false, provided by bug 201581
