STR:
1. Open a youtube video. Tap to get the player controls and then move to full screen (Was watching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ydl0-oxxfQ). Press the allow button to allow full screen.
2. Play the video in full screen for a minute or two and then press the home button.
3. Long press the home button again to relaunch the app
4. Receive the attached screenshot

Sometimes I have seen a black screen as well when repeating these steps. However, it doesn't always reproduce consistently.

I get a slightly odd screen temporarily and then the app reloads and everything seems OK.

Marcia, can you clarify if the "lost formatting" persists, or does youtube eventually render successfully?

What is expected to happen is that when the user leaves the app we unload youtube. When the user re-enters the app we should load the same page again, but obviously that will take a few seconds. The exact time depends on the connection speed of course.

The green in the screenshot is probably bug 877400. Bug 877400 will just change it to black instead.

I think what happens is that when we come to the foreground the compositor tries to repaint the last layer tree it received from the app, which in this case happens to be mostly out of date, so we get something silly, but as soon as the app revives and the page reloads, we should be fine.

Ok, I'm going to make this not block bug 877024 then. Marcia, if you can reproduce a behavior where we don't render things properly as soon as youtube loads, please mark this as blocking bug 877024 again.

Unable to get a green or black page to display after playing a youtube video via steps to repro bug.  Tested 5 times and unable to repro.
