What feature should be changed? Please provide the URL of the feature if possible.

Currently, the edit button doesn't stand out very well. Let's try a deeper blue or adding a bit of a border around it so it stands out from the also-pastel background.

What problems would this solve?

Hopefully this will increase edit transactions.

Who would use this?

Hopefully lots of people!

What would users see?

Just a bolder edit button. Nothing super-distracting, just more visible.

What would users do? What would happen as a result?

No change to user action.

Is there anything else we should know?

No bright red or hot pink please. :)

As we discussed in meeting, might make a great candidate for A/B testing.

I don't think this is good for A/B testing.  More clicks on edit doesn't mean the button is better looking or better placed, and we only want "experts" doing a lot of editing, so if it gets people not qualified to edit to click, that's not a gain.

I agree with David here; this isn't a good choice for A/B testing. It's something we can play with over time because it's easy, but I don't think it works as an A/B test.

I think we can very easily just make the blue a little deeper and see if it helps with the "Gosh, I didn't know it was a wiki" problem.

Not for now. I hope that having fewer buttons floating around will make the button more noticeable. We may revisit this after the redesign is done though.
