87778 - select controls for product, version, etc on query.cgi update very slowly

When querying bugzilla using mozilla, I always get it to hang for over 5 seconds
when choosing a product/component/version/milestone combination from the select
controls in query.cgi. I understand there's some javascript magic being done on
a really long list, but NS4 updates the boxes in almost no time at all.

Steps to reproduce:

0) Start browser
1) Load http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.cgi
2) Scroll down to the Program select box
3) Click on "Browser"
4) Try clicking anywhere (browser is hung for ~ 5 secs)

wait for about 5 seconds and mozilla (all windows) will come back to life.

DUPLICATE of a bug which is probably dup too.
Please search for duplicates before entering a new bug.

I beg to differ, Tom. Christian is describing the interaction with the query
page, not the initial loading as I do in bug #84820. This is indeed a duplicate,
but of bug 46298.
