Created attachment 756579 [details] Test case for the deviceorientation event. After some experiments I discovered that Chrome and Firefox does not return the same values for the angle within the DeviceOrientationEvent. I suspect that Firefox return the "right" values but as a (non-English speaking) web developer, I found the spec somewhat confusing to determine which is wrong or right. In the attach test case, Firefox for Android and Chrome for Android does not produce the same output. How is it possible to get a coherent behavior? Should we change our implementation or should we push hard on the spec to make it clearer in a way that avoid any confusion?
Have you perhaps filed a bug on Chrome?
(In reply to Olli Pettay [:smaug] from comment #1) > Have you perhaps filed a bug on Chrome? Not yet, I wish to have input from people at Mozilla first.
DeviceOrientationEvent is no longer handled in chrome, and is deprecated (but not removed) in Firefox. Invalidating.
