the font used in "Messages" in js console seems to be different than the one in 
"Errors".

Please make it the same font.

one annoyting effect of this bug is that the text in "messages" doesn't wrap 
when you resize the console.
Text in both errors and warnings wraps.
just to clarify --did you see this while in mail? if so ->mail.

if not, punt back/as needed.

this has nothing to do with mail. It has to do with the JavaScript console.

A fixed width font is used on purpose in messages so that it can be read like
the console.
