RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 700399

People

(Reporter: lmironov, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 SeaMonkey/2.17.1 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130410205058

Steps to reproduce:

create a new blank tab (^T or file-new-browser tab), it becomes the current tab
open bookmarks menu
open any bookmark in a new tab - middle-click or right-click and select "open in a new tab"

Actual results:

bookmarks opens in a current blank tab

Expected results:

it should've opened in a new tab. I used a blank tab to make this issue easily reproducible but it beciomes particularly annoying on a slow lagging connection: if when opening a link in a new tab seamonkey didn't receive a response from the server yet (tab displays 'loading...' in the tab title) this tab is treated as if it is blank and overwritten by subsequently opened links.
DUP Bug 700399 - middle-click bookmark loads in current empty tab, even if another site is already loading in that tab
