hello, Joseph Kelly and Nikhil Kumar are two metrics interns. They already have MPT VPN access but need accounts on hala (hala.metrics.scl3.mozilla.com) before they can access any data.
This does not rise to the definition of a blocker.

I'm sorry for the wrong label. Well, whatever is appropriate. Essentially they cannot access any data without accounts on hala. Thank you Saptarshi
Daniel, please ack this.

And to be sure, we are talking about shell access on hala or something else?
(In reply to Dumitru Gherman [:dumitru] from comment #4) > And to be sure, we are talking about shell access on hala or something else? What other types are there? Regular user accounts (e.g. a copy of sguha (who has an account on hala))
> What other types are there? Regular user accounts (e.g. a copy of sguha (who > has an account on hala)) Sorry! Not sguha, but spaul.

Regular user accounts (e.g. a copy of sguha (who > has an account on hala)) A lot of times people request "account on server X", when they actually mean "access to the service that runs on this port on server X, accessible via a web browser". Since it wasn't specified to what service they need access to, I asked to clear out any confusion.
Aah, thanks. I mean user shell accounts, so that they can SSH into the box. thanks for the explanation.
ack for ssh access to hala
