User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/27.0.1453.94 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

I have gone through numerous bug fixes to see if there were any settings within Mozilla FireFox browser to allow the images on our website to show. Currently when logged into vinsolutions.com using FireFox versions 20.0 and 21.0 some images will not populate unless you clear the cache and close then reopen the browser. This will work initially until you have closed the browser and and reopened it again then the images will disappear again and you will have to clear the cache and browsing history again to get the images to populate.

Actual results:

After checking the settings and altering them I still am unable to get them to load properly when first opening the browser.

Expected results:

The browser should load our images from our server and not from cache.
Group: core-security
Summary: The problem is Firefox has a bug that is not letting images load from cache normally in v20 and 21. Because of this, the images in question are not being loaded from our servers everytime but are being loaded from the cache. → images not loading from cache excessive network calls

This means it worked before in FF 19 ?

Yes this was working on FF 19 and earlier versions. Since the update to 20 and 21 it no longer shows the images without clearing cache first then closing and reopening the browser.
Strange--we've had no other reports I can think of with a similar issue.

If I understand correctly, you're saying

1) Images load fine the first time you ever go to site. They also work if you go back to the page (or reload) within the same session.

2) But once you restart the browser, the images don't show up. If you clear the cache, they still don't show up. You have to also restart the browser after clearing cache for them to show up.

Correct?

It would be useful to have HTTP logs for both the initial and restart sessions. James, can you capture some logs and send them to us?

     https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Debugging/HTTP_logging

Sounds like we want

1) initial session
2) 2nd session (with missing images, then cache clear, then still missing images)
3) 3rd session (working OK after reboot).
