Unagi device with MP-dev app installed

Steps to reproduce:
1.Try to buy an app for which the payment will fail with "Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later " error
2.On this page , press "Retry " button

Expected results:
Payment should start again

Actual results :
Nothing happens when pressing "Retry"
We haven't landed the retry button yet ;) Can you attach a screenshot? Is this a bango page?

Retry is on a bango page, see bug 876911 for an example.

The retry button basically just closes the error overlay, as per the UX spec (it was a google doc and I can't find the link).

Are you saying it doesnt close the overlay? Or that it should prompt another payment?

I am saying that "Retry" should restart the Payment flow, but if this is according to UX spec(I dont have them ), then feel free to close.

Anyway if it only closes the error, then we should rename it to "Close" or something.
The UX specs for Bango are here now: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Apps/ID_and_Payments#UX

Maureen can help on what Retry should do in this case.

If there is a "Retry" button clicking the button should resubmit the payment. The "Retry" button should be shown only when it will be effective. If it is an error that will take awhile to resolve we should not show the "Retry" button. The wording of the error message should be different in the two cases:

Cancel/Retry buttons: "Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again."
Ok button only: "Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later."

Do we have a test app for which we know that the payment will fail?

Thanks for the fix, Keir. Victor, there is no way to intentionally cause a payment to fail so we'll have to wait until we see it again.
