Possibly, although that bug speaks in much more general terms, and this bug just wants the equivalent of the existing Makefile targets but in mach.
I'm not sure how I feel about "polluting" the mach command list by another 5 commands. I do like the idea of |mach test <x>| where <x> can be a path, test suite, tbpl abbreviation, mochitest-1, etc. I see a few options:

1) Start to implement |mach test <x>| with only support for known test suites and some abbreviations.

2) Support |mach mochitest 1| |mach mochitest --chunk 1| (or similar)

3) Support |mach mochitest-1| etc.
I implemented this in bug 860839.
