Created attachment 760211 [details] ana2_ueb08.pdf User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:21.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/21.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130511120803 Steps to reproduce: I opened the attached PDF file using FF's built-in PDF viewer and printed the third page of the document. As I encountered problems, I printed the document again using different systems to narrow down the problem. The document was displayed correctly in all instances. I have a Ubuntu/Win8 dual-boot setup and two printers (USB and network). I printed using the systems below: Win8, FF's PDF.js viewer, USB printer (e) Win8, FF's PDF.js viewer, network printer (e) Win8, Metro PDF viewer, USB printer Win8, Metro PDF viewer, network printer Ubuntu, FF's PDF.js viewer, USB printer Ubuntu, FF's PDF.js viewer, network printer Ubuntu, Metro PDF viewer, USB printer Ubuntu, Metro PDF viewer, network printer Actual results: The prints came out right, except for the cases marked with an (e). Troubleshooting printer errors is a little messy at times, but I'm reasonably confident that the problem here is with Firefox for Windows. It appears to be the common denominator for the problems. The flawed prints lacked the "absolute value" markings on the formula for task 1 on page 3. |x|+|y|+|z|<1 became x+y+z<1. Expected results: PDF.js should've printed the absolutes, because that's a whole different math homework to solve.
Confirmed by printing with MS XPS Document Writer, |...| are missing (FF21/24).
