This is more of a "does anyone agree?" bug.

I try to get myself to use the "Filter Headers" textbox in the Headers tab of the Network panel, but I always end up scanning the list instead. I wish I could reclaim that space and just show more headers at a time (and reduce the padding per header). Maybe that's just me though.

Or maybe we could only show the box when there are a large amount of headers?

I think that removing the filter box altogether is a bit drastic, but showing it only when there are, say, 20 or more headers is a great idea. Reducing the padding is also a sensible suggestion, but I wouldn't trim more than 2px.
