People

(Reporter: andrew.garsten, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:21.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/21.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130511120803

Steps to reproduce:

Issue is resolved. I had 30k message in sent folder and reduced this to sub-3k.

I tried (repeatedly to send an email out from Thunderbird. Reset TB, rebooted PC, reset broadband connection, cleared browser cache.

Actual results:

Every time I sent out an email, the message would not send, and I would get the alert message below.

This is alert message:

"An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Transaction failed : Cannot send message due to possible abuse; please visit http://postmaster.yahoo.com/abuse_smtp.html for more information. Please check the message and try again."

This is an ATT broadband account. ATT said that yahoo said it was not their problem, and would not support Thunderbird PC client.
Please see the instructions in the other bug report how to resolve this issue.
