According to the writeup in bug 831909, we shouldn't select text in the navbar on the first tap. This is default behavior on desktop, so filing this just to clarify that this is in fact the behavior we want. If so, this bug serves as the place we'll remove default selection.
Asa, curious if you can confirm this since you put together that writeup.
