KiwiIRC ( https://kiwiirc.com/ ) has been gaining popularity lately. Kiwi doesn't have ads (no tracking!), and is open source, so it seems to fall in line with Mozilla's goals. You can request access to add the servers at https://kiwiirc.com/enablekiwi.
Since we already have Mibbit for this, marking as 'enhancement' since we're pretty swamped.

can we possible enable it, it only takes a few wee changes to the config I have got contacts from them also mailto:email@example.com he is willing to enable it for us once you enable it all he needs is a email and Darren will get mozilla on the beta Jack is the other admin mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org
