Details
The older mozilla.org/firefox/firstrun and mozilla.org/firefox/whatsnew pages are now redirected to firefox/update with instructions about updates that are not version specific. This will allow users of very old versions of Firefox to get detailed instructions on updating to recent versions of Firefox.

Just got word from Chris More that this page is going to be merged with /new real soon as part of a new unified download project (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Websites/Mozilla.org/Unified-Firefox-Download)
We will translate the newer iteration being prepared, marking that bug Invalid, sorry for the noise.
