Details

Currently the download link presented when users run an outdated version of the flash plugin points to the "get flash" page at Adobe. At least for Windows users, that page only offers a circuitous download method involving a "download helper" and other ****. I would thus suggest that for platforms where Adobe offers thus by default, the PluginCheck page should link directly to the plain downloads: Windows with browsers using the Netscape Plugin API: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player.exe Windows with browsers using the ActiveX Plugin API: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_ax.exe (Not sure if other platforms are affected and what their download URLs are)

Adobe Flash is no longer supported.
