##Environment: Gecko http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-b2g18/rev/eff45c60396e Gaia 337674ef250cc8a05358b873b0fdbb2e73b49224 BuildID 20130606070207 Version 18.0 ##Prerequisites: Have a list of contacts already on the phone ##Steps to Reproduce : 1. Transfer a list of contacts from a source (say, the computer) to the device's SD card. 2. Open the contacts app on the device 3. Tap on the contacts setting gear on the top right corner 4. Tap on SD card under the 'Import Contacts' sub heading ##Expected: There should be a mechanism to check the contacts that are being imported and the contacts that are already present. If there is a match(same contact in SD card and in device) , there should be only one contact imported/present in the device. Duplicate contact should be removed. Any changes in the contacts in source should be updated in the contact details in the device, after an import ##Actual : Duplicate contacts are created (say, 2 same contacts with exactly the same details)
Came across this bug 813732 as a reference. Followed essentially the same path but thats an import from SIM card.
