Procedure: Start with empty Trash folder. Create a new folder in your mail account. Delete it. Expand the Trash and delete the deleted folder. Expected: Arrow to expand/collapse Trash goes away since Trash has no child folders. Actual: Arrow remains. Build: 2001062704 Win98
Seen this too, and it will not get fixed by our folderpane rewrite.

I believe Navin says he has the fix for this. Bug 59871?

Reopening, this is not the same issue as bug 59871. 59871 just deals with unread counts.

calling UpdateFolder() won't get rid of the twisty? Do we have to close the datasource or something?
I believe this is the same as a bug I filed a while back, bug 73827. I filed it against newsgroups, but Laurel dup'ed a bug against mail, and added her comments into it.

I just noticed this on my win98 system (2001081504) today. Does no target milestone mean this hasn't been triaged or that it's not in the schedule (yet)?
This is likely to be an rdfliner bug. If I don't get to it in the next week or two, maybe varga could take a look.
just reminder: I think we have to make sure that we reset cached parent row properties (container, empty, etc.) InvalidateRow() will be probably necessery too.

I'm duping this to the bug with the patch. Yes, I know this bug was filed before, but in all actuality, this is a DUP of bug 73827 itself anyway, which I'll also DUP. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 161452 ***
